Luiz Bonfa, at Loronix, here. I love o write this. Really. Luiz Bonfa started at Loronix very slowly, released together with the old Bossa Nova legends and gradually made several new enthusiasts all around. It is easy to say that Luiz Bonfa is the favorite release of many Loronixers in Brazil and all around the world.

By the way, I was writing about this subject to our new Loronixer Charles Sobrinho, he asked why Loronix is written in English. I told him that is just because zecalouro understands that Brazilian music is one of the most original, creative, compealing and wonderful music of this planet, so wonderful that people all over the world wants to know more about Brazilian music and the English language the easiest one. Just a matter to make it easy to everybody. That’s it.Let’s get back to Luiz Bonfa – O Violao de Luiz Bonfa (1959), for Cook – USA, was recorded in Rio de Janeiro and it is just Luiz Bonfa on the set and his guitar in all tunes. This amazing picture was taken at Copacabana Beach, Rio de Janeiro. The girl is probably on top of a fisherman boat that is still there on this spot after more than 40 years. How life is wonderful.
