Hello, good evening! Let’s update one of the albums that I like most, released a long time ago at Loronix, precisely, January 15th. I could never understand why people did not comment this one. Perhaps this minimalistic black and white Philips cover did not gather our community attention or the music was not well transferred. Anyway, I’m happy to bring Show de Bossa to the spotlight again, the transfer is much better and the missing back cover is now available. Let’s see.
This Corisco e Os Sambaloucos – Show de Bossa (1963), for Philips. Corisco e Os Sambaloucos is lead by Waldemar Marchetti, a Brazilian percussionist very active in the 60’s, releasing with Corisco e Os Sambaloucos more than five albums. Corisco always brings top-notch musicians to his recording sessions and Show de Bossa is not different, featuring Hamilton Godoy (the legendary Zimbo Trio pianist), Heraldo do Monte (guitar), Xu (bass) and others. Este disco estava “com defeito” (faixa 3 e 4 iguais), mas graças aos amigos Pedro e Milan, ele foi corrigido e agora pode ser buscado no Parallel Realities.
