This is a truly amazing and really unique Brazilian album, highly recommended by the mighty Ed. Motta, which I want to thanks for always pointing solid listens to our community. Fuzi 9 was already available on a given month of 2006, but technically speaking, that old one is really out of the new Loronix standards with a cover artwork of a size of a thumbnail, a missing track and a very low quality ripping.

This is Fuzi 9 – Fuzi 9 (1970), for Todamerica, the first and only record by this awesome group of nine boys and a female singer. Don’t let these tuxedos on cover artwork cheats you these guys delivers an awesome Samba Soul music, all nine members are soldiers from Brazilian Army. Complete personnel listing is unknown but among the boys we have Carlos Dafe, a well-known singer in the 70’s and perhaps the only that followed on a career as an artist. Highly recommended. Tracks include:

– Já Era Tempo de Você (José Carlos / Rosana)
– Poeira (Zuzuca / B. Reis)
– Trilha (José Carlos / Vanden de Souza)
– De Conversa Em Conversa (Lúcio Alves / Haroldo Barbosa)
– Pra Onde Tu Vai Baião (João do Vale / Sebastião Rodrigues)
– Tributo a Muezim (Manuel Hugo de Silva)
– Haiakaiam (Lilian Martins)
– Bahia de Todos os Deuses (Bala / Manoel)
– Sônia (José Carlos)
– Fim (José Carlos)
– Fuzão 79 (José Carlos)
– Isto É Samba (J. Canseira / Paulo Silva)
