I always though about reposting this album one day and Caetano gave me in the last trip to Sao Paulo. The last one had a defective track and a low quality ripping. Now we have it on a really better shape and with everything in place including large size and high quality cover scans. I think nobody can miss this upgrade.

This is Formula 7 – Formula 7 Volume 2 (1968), for Parlophone. Formula 7 was assembled in 1965 by the Brazilian guitarist Helio Delmiro and was very active in the late 60’s. They recorded four albums and their music was a fusion of Jazz, Rock, Psycho and Soul. This is their second album. Tracks include:

Let’s move to the top of the row some obscure instrumental LPs from the 60’s. Starting with Formula 7, probably well known by many Loronix specialists, but completely obscure to zecalouro.

Formula 7 – Som Psicodelico, Volume 1 (1968), a groovy instrumental LP, full of brass and a nice rhythm section. Tracks include a mix of Brazilian songs with some American standards and a nice version of Batman TV show theme, as follow:

01 – Watermelon Man
02 – Pata Pata
03 – Ponteio
04 – Call me
05 – Bond Street
06 – Simplesmente
07 – Suck’um Up
08 – You Only Live Twice
09 – Alegria, Alegria
10 – Rossana
11 – I’m a Believer
12 – Batman

I hope someone has more to add to this LP.
