The choices were many for this closing post. They were sent to some Loronixers. One of them said I was killing him, torturing with all the choices. Anyway, the chance to make a mistake is reduced. I want to make like regular Brazilian people, turn on the TV, make some hot dogs and fall sleeping in 30 minutes watching the Carnaval parade. Meanwhile, you can stay with Luiz Bonfa.

This is Luiz Bonfa & Don Burrows – Bonfa Burrows Brazil (1978), for CPF – Australia, another collaboration from the Australian sax, flute player Don Burrows with Brazilian musicians, this time with Luiz Bonfa. Self-explanatory closing post. Bonfa guitar can be heard in all tunes. I took this sentence from one of the best Luiz Bonfa discographies available at the Internet, Luiz Bonfa Discography from Koichi Yasuoka, here. You cannot miss Yasuoka work.

This release should please and take by surprise several fans of Burnier and Cartier at Loronix. Barbara Burnier, daughter of Octavio Burnier, which I had the chance to meet here, also awaits this release. I hope to make the day of several friends with this record.Meet Don Burrows – Don Burrows and The Brazilian Connection (1977), for EMI. Don Burrows is an Australian sax player that invited Burnier and Cartier to tour around in several cities. During their stay in Australia, they record this LP on a live presentation at Sydney Opera House. This album received several awards in Australia and it is considered one of the best Don Burrows record. Thanks Caetano Rodrigues for this release. Don Burrows has some affairs with Brazilian music and recorded another LP with Luiz Bonfa, uncle of Octavio Burnier. Just a piece of advice, Don Burrows and The Brazilian Connection is a double album that could fit only in three separate files. Track list will be available by clicking this link, here. This is Don Burrows – Don Burrows and The Brazilian Connection (1977), at Loronix.
