Hello, good night! Technology is a blessing and sometimes disappointing when there is something broken and cannot be fixed. In spite of Thelma main performance at this album, Nelson Cavaquinho compositions make the real difference. I suggest that everybody gives a try to this record, you will get the nice Thelma singer performance and the music of Nelson Cavaquinho, the best Brazilian samba composer ever. Tracks include. Thelma Soares, Thelma, back to Loronix with her first US release, kindly provided by Caetano Rodrigues. The first Thelma LP is already here and the feedback was great. Let’s see what happens with this one. Meet, Thelma – The Haunting New Voice From Brazil (N/A), for Columbia, a record that I could not identify the exactly release date and probably is uncertain for many.

By the time of Thelma first release at Loronix, her debut LP with the participation of Vinicius de Moraes, some friends thought that this LP was an international release with the same tracks, actually this is different and I invite you to check how it is. Tracks include:

Thelma Soares or just Thelma is a Brazilian singer that probably many Brazilians had never heard about. Thelma started his career in the early 60’s sponsored by Baden Powell and Vinicius de Moraes. Both meet Thelma attending her performance in Sao Paulo, at the nightclub Baiuca.

This is Thelma – Thelma (1965), for CBS, Thelma debut LP, produced by Vinicius de Moraes and Marcos Valle. Vinicius de Moraes wrote the linear notes of this album with enthusiastic words about Thelma and this record, plenty of Baden Powell, Vinicius de Moraes and Marcos Valle compositions. Thelma had a fast start with support from renowned people, but what happened with her since then? She released another LP in the following hear and other two spare releases in the 80s.
