This is a really nice record, thanks to JimR, he is the one who let me know about it in his first week at Loronix. Sou Sem Paz is one of those legendary albums that every Brazilian music fan wants to hear, Adilson Godoy is the brother of Zimbo Trio pianist, Amylson Godoy, Maestro Erlon Chaves is in charge of arrangements and personnel listing brings top-notch musicians. Let’s see.

This is Adilson Godoy – Sou Sem Paz (1965), for RGE. Adilson Godoy plays piano and sings on his first and only LP. I have been wondering why Adilson Godoy did not move towards a successful career after releasing this nice album. In the other hand, Adilson Godoy has been an active composer since this release, with music recorded by Elis Regina, Elizeth Cardoso, Walter Wanderley, Lenita Bruno and many other renowned artists.
