Since the first day with this LP, zecalouro had nice feelings about it. As a matter of fact, zecalouro is not a big fan of compilations, the exception are the ones produced by Rato at the amazing RatoRecordsBlog.
When zecalouro took a time today to research this record, the good feelings had been transformed into FACTS, let me explain:
a) The production is in charge of Altamiro Carrilho
b) Arrangements are from Eumir Deodato, with the age of 17 (seventeen)
c) The band is: Altamiro Carrilho (flute), Eumir Deodato (piano), Durval Ferreira (guitar), Agobar de Paula (Bombardino), Fernando Costa (drums) e Alfredinho (bass)
d) The performers are wonderful early Brazilian stars: Silvino Junior, Claudette Soares, Conjunto da U.R.S.A – Uniao Reabilitadora Samba de Asfalto, Myrna Romani, Walmir Falcao and Marilucia
e) The cover is a masterpiece.

Como não está disponível em nenhum local, estamos disponibilizando provisoriamente na forma de um magnet link. This is a legendary record, one of the first Bossa Nova Long Players.
Even if the singers are not so well known, the great Bossa Nova guitar of Durval Ferreira is audible through the whole record.
Also this are the first recordings
of Eumir Deodato and Claudette Soares. This record is not a sampler, the recordings can only be found on this LP. A similar project is the famous “Bossa Nova Mesmo” on Philips with Sylvia Telles,Lucio Alves,Carlos Lyra & Vinicius de Moraes (1962).

I forgot to mention, that on the last track “Sambop” Mauricio Einhorn plays the harmonica-solo, I think the record is his debut-recording too.
