I received some singles and EPs and I will try to make the ones that I like most and the ones with a cover artwork available. Several albums in this format were not released with cover art, they were made available on an envelop with a hole to show the label at the center, such like the old 78 rpm, really hard to identify. Not this one.

This is Tamba Trio – Tamba Trio EP (1965), for Philips, perhaps the first and only EP released by Tamba Trio. I could not identify if these tracks were released on regular 12-inch albums and I will let with you this investigation. Tracks include:

01 – Samba de Verao
02 – So Tinha de Ser Com Voce
03 – Reza
04 – Samblues

Não tinha esse disco. Porém, graças aos amigos Andreas e Fulano Sicrano, ele pode ser buscado no Um que Tenha.

Hello Zeca,

these tracks seems so familiar, but after I checked the Tamba Trio LP`s this 4 tracks are all non-album tracks. Great find!

Esse disco é um ripping de um compacto duplo com duas faixas em cada lado, mesmo formato do compacto simples, que tem apenas uma faixa em cada lado.

The “Reza” track appears on a compilation called “Brazilian Festival” which was released by Phillips, 1975.
